Reports: North Korea Fires Missiles Into Sea of Japan
Japan says the launch is a new kind of threat
North Korea's neighbours say Pyongyang has fired several missiles into the Sea of Japan. The Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, said four ballistic missiles had been launched, three of them landing in waters in Tokyo's exclusive economic zone.
The director general of the World Health Organisation, Dr Margaret Chan, says that air pollution is a global threat which is on a much bigger scale than HIV or Ebola.
France's conservative politician, Francois Fillon, has said no-one can stop his bid for the French presidency, as pressure grows on him to step down over a criminal investigation into payments he made to his family.
