A taste of Mardi Gras with Hot 8 Brass Band, jazz trumpeter Christian Scott and Slam champion Sha’Condria 'iCON’ Sibley.

We head to New Orleans, Louisiana, to bring listeners a taste of world-famous Mardi Gras. With performances from Hot 8 Brass Band and jazz trumpeter Christian Scott together with poetry from New Orleans own Slam champion Sha’Condria 'iCON’ Sibley. Nikki Bedi is joined by a panel of local guests including actor Harry Shearer, radio host Janae Pierre and comedian Kamari Stevens discussing the role of the arts within the fabric of life in the city.
