Earth-Like Planets Found in Outer Space

The discovery could lead to a breakthrough in the search for life in the universe

Astronomers say they've discovered seven Earth-sized planets orbiting a star. Three of the planets are within what's considered to be the habitable zone where surface water might exist and therefore life may be possible. It would take hundreds of thousands of years to get there from Earth, if we were to use current rocket technology.
