The British Supreme Court is due to deliver its verdict on whether Prime Minister Theresa May needs approval from Parliament to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty - the legal process for the UK to get separated from the European Union. The British government has been appealing an earlier High Court ruling which said that it would be unlawful for Mrs May to trigger Article 50 alone using executive powers known as 'royal prerogatives'.
