Syria Peace Talks Start in Astana
New round of discussions to end Syrian civil war convened by Russia, Turkey and Iran.
Opposing sides in the Syrian conflict are in Kazakhstan for talks with the goal of reaching a peace settlement. The so-called Islamic State and other jihadist groups are not involved in the negotiations.
