Manhunt Continues For Istanbul Nightclub Gunman

The manhunt continues for a gunman who killed 39 people in an Istanbul nightclub as Turkey marked the start of the new year.

Campaigners in Jamaica have called on President Barack Obama to pardon the Jamaican pan-African advocate, Marcus Garvey, some 76 years after his death. The activists says that Mr Garvey was framed by the authorities in the US and jailed there for mail fraud.

And in Kenya, efforts are underway to repopulate the declining fish stocks in Lake Victoria, Africa's largest fresh water lake.
