Italy's Monte dei Paschi di Siena has failed to raise more than five billion dollars.
Italy's Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank has been bailed out after it failed to raise the more than five billion dollars it needed to stay afloat. The Italian government has approved a plan worth billions of dollars to save one of the world’s oldest banks. The bailout could cost each Italian family 833 Euros.
