Terrorism Link Suspected in Berlin Attack
Authorities say they aren't sure suspect was driver of truck which smashed into market
The German authorities say they can't be certain that a man arrested on Monday was the driver of the truck that smashed into a Christmas market in Berlin. Twelve people died when the vehicle ploughed into the crowded square. The German interior minister, Thomas de Maiziere, said the suspect was an asylum seeker who was probably from Pakistan, but the man denied his involvement. Federal prosecutor Peter Frank, said the style of attack and the target suggested Islamic extremism.
