Ghana's New President to Focus on Economy and Corruption

In his first interview with the BBC since winning Ghana's presidential election, Nana Akufo-Addo has said turning around the economy is his top priority. He also laid out his plans to tackle corruption in the country, explaining that he intends to separate politics from criminal investigation.

The Nigerian authorities have promised an inquiry to establish what caused a church roof to collapse in the south-eastern state of Akwa Ibom, killing dozens of worshipers.
