A horse fair at Appleby in northern England has been at the centre of Gypsy life for centuries, Billy Welch is one of the organisers, and also a convert to evangelical Christianity.
As he looked over the countryside in the heart of the scenic Lake District Billy couldn’t help himself thinking that the land around Appleby was a holy and sacred area and a place the Lord brings him, and his fellow Christians to every year.
