President-elect Trump is warned over deportations; Turkey arrests 100,000 additional people; the first South African kingdom

US president-elect Donald Trump is facing opposition over his immigration campaign promises from city mayors.

More than 100,000 have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the plan to overthrow President Erdogan after he talked of 'cleansing' Turkey of a 'virus'.

The sophisticated 1000-year-old Mapungubwe kingdom in present day South Africa's Limpopo province is on show at the British Museum in London. Abandoned in the 14th Century it was home to an incredible community.
