Actor Ewan McGregor and producer James Schamus have both adapted novels by Philip Roth for the screen – they discuss their directorial debuts. Award winning British director Ken Loach on his new film I Daniel Blake, an exploration of social injustice. Senegalese Kora player Diabel Cissokhou on playing desert blues and Rwandan film maker Anisia Uzeyman talks about her movie Dreamstates, which was shot entirely on smartphones. And Nikki is joined in the studio by American author and broadcaster Diane Roberts and by satirist Ikenna Azuike to discuss the cultural response to the bitterly fought US election battle and how satirists worldwide are reacting to Trump.
