May and Modi Talk Trade Post-Brexit

The British and Indian prime ministers have been discussing their countries' future trade relationship. One thorny issue is the right of Indian students to work in the UK after completing their studies. Nick Hillman from the Higher Education Policy Institute explains the disagreement, and Lord Bilimoria the founder of Cobra beer tells us why he thinks the UK needed to offer more to Delhi to prove the UK is open for business. Also in the programme, parents and students have been protesting after Uganda's high court ordered the closure of more than 60 schools run by a for-profit organisation, Bridge International. Fred Van Leeuwen is the general secretary of Education International, which represents teaching unions around the world, and tells us about concerns over the type of education the organisation is providing. Andrew White from Bridge International School in Uganda responds to those concerns. Plus, our regular commentator Lucy Kellaway of the Financial Times tells us how she dealt with some unwelcome feedback.
