Uncertainty surrounds the fate of many children living in the closed migrant camp in Calais some of whom have been forced to sleep rough because there is no room for them in government centres. More than twenty children are reported to have been killed in air strikes in a rebel-held village in northern Syria after a school and a residential area were hit. One of the most demonised patients in history - Gaetan Dugas - has been cleared of claims he spread HIV to the United States.
