Artillery and Tanks Engage in Battle for Mosul

Islamic State declared its caliphate from Mosul more than two years ago, now a military offensive is underway to drive the militants from their last major stronghold in Iraq. In what is expected to be an intense battle there are serious concerns for the welfare of the civilian population.
