An international deal has been reached to phase out hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), potent greenhouse gases that are widely used in air conditioning units and refrigerators. African Union members meet at an anti-maritime piracy summit. 'The Big Issue', a British magazine sold by and for homeless people, celebrates its 25th anniversary.
