Emily Kasriel, the woman behind the drive for 'solutions-focused' journalism explains why it is not enough to ask "how things happen and why" but also "what next?".

Emily Kasriel is the head of Editorial Partnerships and Special Projects at BBC World Service and is steering the drive for 'solutions-focused' journalism. It is in response to BBC Audience research which found listeners want journalists to not only ask, “how did this happen and why?” but to ask “what next?” as well.
