The US said it had stopped talking to Russia about Syria.
Russia's continued involvement in the attack on Aleppo has prompted the US to stop talking to it about Syria. At the same time, Russia says it has suspended an agreement on dealing with Cold War plutonium. And it has stepped up measures to prevent US military activity in Syria.
