Russia says it has told Washington that separating opposition rebels from what they call "terrorists" is a ``key issue'' to ensuring that the Russia-U.S.-brokered cease-fire continues to hold.

Lawyers for the former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva have denounced prosecutors who've filed corruption charges against him, saying they're aimed at stopping him standing again.

Polish police officers have been deployed to walk the streets of Harlow, alongside their British counterparts. The idea is to ease community tensions, after the murder of a Pole in the Essex town.
