UK Nuclear Plant Gets Go-Ahead

The British government has approved a nuclear power project partly funded by China. We hear from our business correspondent, Theo Leggett and the head of BBC Chinese, Howard Zhang.

The UN calls on the Syrian government to allow access for the delivery of aid to the conflict zone, on the third day of the ceasefire in Syria.

We also go to Kiev for details of a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine, that's come into force since midnight on Wednesday.
