Trump Defends Plan to Build a Wall with Mexico

Donald Trump meets Mexico's Pena Nieto; Dilma Rousseff's impeachment; Elections in Gabon

The US presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has defended his plan to build a wall along the border with Mexico during talks with the Mexican president, Enrique Pena Nieto.

The new president of Brazil, Michel Temer, has said the country is entering a new era following the dismissal of his predecessor, Dilma Rousseff. Members of the Senate voted by sixty-one to twenty to remove Ms Rousseff from office after a nine-month-long impeachment process.

Opponents of President Ali Bongo in Gabon have set fire to the national assembly. They were angered by the announcement of the president's victory over his rival, Jean Ping, in elections on Saturday.
