Ceasefire Takes Effect in Colombia

A long awaited ceasefire between the Colombian government and the left-wing rebels known as FARC has come into effect. For over 50 years, one of the world's longest running conflicts has killed an estimated 260,000 people and displaced millions.
On Sunday, Hong Kong will hold its first citywide election since democracy protests rocked the former British colony two years ago.
Aliko Dangote, Africa's richest man, and Bono, one of the world's most famous rock stars, have been visiting camps where Nigerians have fled from the militant group Boko Haram.
