Trump slips; North Korean defectors; Juba witness

The US Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has been giving a speech at a campaign rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin tonight. Wisconin was one of the few states to cast their votes against Donald Trump in the primary. Support for Mr. Trump's campaign is not just flagging in Wisconsin. Polling numbers suggest he's also falling behind Hillary Clinton in the battle ground states of Virginia and Florida.

A senior North Korean diplomat who was based in London is said to have defected and fled abroad with his family. South Korean media say that he was under intolerable pressure from Pyongyang to counter criticism of North Korea.

On 11th of July, during fighting between government and rebel soldiers in Juba, the capital of South Sudan, a compound full of international aid workers was attacked by armed soldiers. Gian Libot was one of those aid workers inside the compound, and he's been speaking to Newsday.
