The Olympics On The BBC World Service
Global Sports Editor, Gary Keown on what you can expect to hear over the next two weeks from the BBC World service team in Rio.
The Olympic Games are well and truly underway in Rio, Brazil and the BBC World Service is out there as an ear to the ground for those of you who cannot make it. This week, Gary Keown, Global Sports editor, tells us about the operation they are running, and explains the possible restrictions to online streaming of certain programmes during the games.
Plus, Newsday’s Matthew Kenyon takes us on a stroll around the International Broadcast Centre at the Olympic Park in Rio to give us insight into the life of a reporter there.
