As Rio prepares for the Olympic opening ceremony later on Friday, residents of the city share their hopes and concerns about the game's legacy.
On Sunday, people in Thailand are being asked to vote on a new constitution. Supporters say it will heal the wounds of a divided country. Critics say it's a way of ensuring the power of the military.
This week has been designated as World Breastfeeding Week. In Kenya, parliament has passed a bill which makes it compulsory for companies to allocate special places, where working women can breastfeed. However, there are no such zones in Parliament itself and women parliamentarians are angry.
