The Turkish President holds an emergency meeting of his security council following last week's failed military coup. It follows a government crackdown on 45,000 people accused of supporting the US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen.
Miners in the Katanga province accuse the DR Congo's Presidential Guard of intimidating them. The BBC's Maud Jullien has been investigating.
Cave drawings discovered in the Caribbean island of Isla de Mona shed some light on the relationship between Spanish colonists and the local indigenous Arawak Indians.
