Britain's new prime minister Theresa May has taken office with a pledge that the country will forge a bold new role for itself in the world as it leaves the European Union. Speaking in Downing Street after her appointment, Mrs May said her government would work not for the privileged few but for everyone.

It is unlikely that you will have heard of a disease called Exomphalos. It's a condition in which some organs grow outside the body. And a three year old boy from Ghana called Ethan Suglo suffers from it. A British doctor helped his parents bring him to Britain since he couldn't get treatment in Ghana, and on Tuesday he underwent surgery.
