A British report on the Iraq war will not be afraid to criticise individuals, its author says; US police filmed shooting dead another black man; the pound hits a new 31-year low.

The author of the British report on the Iraq war - which is published today - says his report will not be afraid to criticise individuals or institutions involved in planning the conflict. Another black suspect in the United States has been killed and once again, video evidence has emerged of the incident. The man's name, Alton Sterling, is already trending worldwide on Twitter.
