'Chaos and Panic' after Istanbul Airport Attack

Suicide attack on Turkey's Ataturk Airport; UK urged to act by EU leaders; Scotty Moore has died

Turkish officials say they believe Islamic State militants were behind a deadly assault on Istanbul's main international airport, in which at least 36 people were killed. Three gunmen were involved in the attack. One opened fire in the departures hall with an automatic rifle, sending travellers scrambling for cover.

Britain is to be excluded from a meeting of European Union leaders later - the first time this has happened for more than 40 years. The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, won't be at the table when the heads of the other 27 EU member states hold informal talks over the implications of last week's British vote to leave the bloc.

He is one of the men who created the sound of rock'n'roll; Scotty Moore, one of the most influential guitarists who shaped the sound of Elvis Presley, has died aged 84.
