The FBI says the gunman who shot dead 50 people in a gay nightclub in Florida had sworn allegiance to so-called Islamic State group. The FBI had previously interviewed him three times as a possible terror suspect - but took no action.

Police in Bangladesh say more than 5,000 people have been arrested, as they try to stop attacks on minorities and activists. We ask how strong the links are between Islamist groups in Bangladesh and groups like IS and al-Qaida affiliates.
