Hillary Clinton has claimed victory as the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, following a resounding win in the primary election in the US state of New Jersey and the expected backing of a majority of so-called super-delegates.

Police in Thailand say they have found what they believe to be a slaughterhouse linked to a Buddhist temple that was raided for its suspected role in the illegal trade in tigers.
