France and UK call for air drops; three weeks to EU referendum in the UK; The Climate Music Project
First, Syria and the continuing international concern about the humanitarian situation in several towns and villages under siege there. France and Britain have called on the United Nations to start humanitarian air drops after accusing the government of President Assad of failing to respect the deadline of 1 June for the widespread distribution of urgent supplies.
Three weeks to go now until Britain decides its future within the European Union. The main issues surrounding this referendum have been the economy and immigration.
For many people the concept of climate change can be difficult to comprehend. So Stephan Crawford, a San Francisco-based artist decided to bring together a group of musicians and scientists to try and turn thousands of years of climate data into a piece of music.
