Drones battling extremism in Niger; Habre verdict; Clowns without borders.
The BBC's Julian Keane is given rare access to Base 101 in Niger, where drones are flying sorties almost every day to combat groups like the so-called Islamic State and al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.
A verdict is expected in the trial of Hissene Habre, who ruled Chad for eight years until 1990 and is accused of ordering the killing of 40,000 people during his rule. Mr Habre denies any knowledge of the murders.
As families continue to flee from conflict in Syria, many children are left with emotional scars that can take a long time to heal. One group however is hoping to help children take that first step. Clowns without borders are a group of children's entertainers that aim to spread a smile in the most difficult of conditions.
