
Kerry Hopes to Salvage Syria Ceasefire
New attempt to salvage a truce in Syria; Efforts by Austria to stop people leaving to become foreign fighters; Elephants are retired from one of the US's biggest circuses.
US Secretary of State John Kerry is in Geneva to salvage a nationwide ceasefire in Syria. He says he will look for Russian co-operation to end the violence in Aleppo.
Austria has the second highest numbers of European foreign fighters in Syria and Iraq per capita, after Belgium. We look at efforts by the Austrian government and the Chechen community there, one of the biggest in Europe, to stop young people from becoming foreign fighters.
And the elephants have given their last performance at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's Circus in the USA. Animal-rights activists have been calling for an end to elephant performances for years.
