The world's richest countries are meeting in Paris today to try to agree a joint approach to combat tax evasion in the wake of the Panama Papers.
A further round of negotiations to end Syria's civil war gets underway today, but there's little sign that President Assad is considering standing down - he's holding parliamentary elections in the parts of the country under his control.
The World Food Programme says armed conflict between Boko Haram and security forces in northern Cameroon have made it difficult for farmers to access their fields.
