The UN envoy for Yemen has welcomed the introduction of a ceasefire, describing it as a real chance to rebuild the country after a year of fighting.
A contentious debate has broken out in Israel over alleged segregation in hospitals. This follows an Israeli radio revelation that just two hospitals in the country refuse to segregate Jewish and non-Jewish mothers in their maternity wards if a request is made.
Spain has dismissed its ambassador to Belgium following an internal investigation into what was described as serious anomalies in the functioning of its diplomatic mission in Brussels.
