Daily Life in Syria's Raqqa
News from Syria's Raqqa; North Korea's missiles; Prostate cancer and vegan diet.
During this week, we have been broadcasting a series of diaries written by an activist living in Raqqa in Syria. It is located on the north bank of the Euphrates River, about 160km east of Aleppo and since 2014 it has become the capital of the so-called Islamic State. The diaries provides an insight into daily life in the self-declared caliphate. We have got an actor to record the diarist's words and we have changed some of the details he describes to protect his identity.
Also, we look into what has prompted North Korea to fire missiles into the sea. And, we find out about a study which suggests that a vegetarian diet could keep prostate cancer away.
