The Conservative Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has announced he's backing calls for Britain to leave the European Union. His support for the "Vote Leave" campaign pits him against Conservative leader and British Prime Minister, David Cameron, who is leading the campaign to stay in the union.

A baby at the centre of an asylum row in Australia has been released from hospital into community detention. But the government says baby Asha will be sent to an offshore camp in Nauru once she is well.

A fire which broke out at a building planned to house migrants in eastern Germany was greeted with cheers from some onlookers, police say. A bus full of migrants was held up for hours by an angry mob of about a hundred people in the town of Clausnitz. What is behind these incidents?
