Three hospitals have been hit in missile attacks in Syria. The UN says about fifty civilians - including children - have been killed.

For 17 years, the parents of the Columbine High School killers have kept their silence. Now Sue Klebold, the mother of Dylan Klebold, has spoken to the BBC. She told Kirsty Wark, “I’m just so sorry”.

More than 150,000 penguins from a single colony have died over the past five years in the Commonwealth Bay area in East Antarctica. A giant iceberg has become stuck there, blocking access to their access to natural feeding waters.
