Insurgent Challengers Win in US Primary

New Hampshire victories for party outsiders, Japan has begun whaling again but is it really a cultural necessity, Libya is at risk from so-called Islamic State.

The Republican, Donald Trump, and the Democrat, Bernie Sanders have won their respective primary contests in New Hampshire, as they fight to gain their parties' nominations for the US presidency.

Japan's whaling fleet is reported to have begun catching Minke Whales in the Antarctic in the last few days despite an international court ruling calling on Japan to halt its so called "scientific whaling program". But is eating whale meat an integral part of Japanese culture as the government claims.

The UN's special representative to Libya is warning of the growing strength of so-called Islamic State in the country.
