Mosul Dam Erosion Threatens Iraqis

Mosul Dam erosion; Burundi sexual violence; The 5 visible planets

Up to half a million Iraqis could be at risk of being killed, if the country's largest dam in Mosul collapses. Recaptured over a year ago from IS fighters, the dam has since then suffered from neglect and erosion.

Violence in Burundi has forced thousands of civilians to flee the country. In neighbouring Tanzania, Burundian refugees have told the charity Refugees International that hundreds of women have been raped by pro-government militiamen and members of the security forces.

If you take the time to look up at the night sky, you might be able to see five planets -- Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn - are all visible to the naked eye. And that will be the case until around February 20th, a phenomenon that has not happened since 2005.
