Militants Carry Out Major Attack in Jakarta
Reported gunfire and explosions; WHO to declare West Africa Ebola-free; South Africa drought
Gunfire and at least six explosions have been reported. Bodies have been seen lying on the streets and police have been searching for attackers in a shopping centre.
The World Health Organisation is expected to declare an end to the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, later today.
And in Southern Africa millions of people are facing food and water shortages as a result of the most severe drought in 20 years.
