The police and the media in Sweden have been accused of covering up a spate of sexual assaults on women by migrants at a music festival in August.
The United Nations says about 400 people in the besieged Syrian town of Madaya could die of starvation or other medical problems unless they're evacuated immediately for treatment.
The authorities in Myanmar have begun peace talks with several large rebel groups.
