New Year Security Tightened
Security tightened over New Year; China ends one-child policy; Mein Kampf on sale again
There's been extra security in the United States and across Europe as people welcomed in the New Year. German police said a terror alert in Munich was based on information that Islamic State militants were planning a multiple suicide attack.
Couples in China are now allowed to have two children, bringing to an end to the country's controversial one-child policy that has been in place for more than 30 years.
Adolf Hitler's Nazi manifesto Mein Kampf goes on sale in Germany for the first time since his downfall at the end of the Second World War.
