Russia Accused Of War Crimes In Syria
Amnesty on Russian air strikes in Syria; Battle for Ramadi; NASA delays Mars mission
The campaign group Amnesty International says it has evidence that Russian air strikes in Syria since September have killed hundreds of civilians, causing widespread and indiscriminate destruction.
Authorities in Iraq say their forces are moving closer to the centre of Ramadi after launching a major assault to drive out Islamic State fighters who captured the city in May.
The American space agency, NASA, has suspended the launch of its next mission to Mars because of a fault in a key research instrument. The decision means that the operation will be delayed for at least two years.
