EU-Africa summit in Malta, Modi-mania hits London, Cape Verde's slave church
European and African leaders are meeting to discuss how to stem the flow of migrants from African countries. The European Commission is offering nearly two billion dollars towards a fund to encourage people not to undertake the perilous sea journey to Europe, but African leaders at the talks in Malta have stressed that Europe must be prepared to co-operate, rather than dictate a solution.
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is arriving in the UK today where he's expected to address his largest crowd outside India yet, when he gives a speech at Wembley, England's national football stadium. Rahul Joglekar, an Indian journalist here at the BBC tells us more.
An archaeological dig in the Cape Verde islands off the coast of west Africa, has unearthed what is believed to be the oldest colonial era church on the continent. And it's been delivering a keen insight into the early years of the African slave trade. Professor Marie Louise Stig Sørensen from Cambridge University has been leading the dig.
