'Jihadi John' believed killed in US air-strike in Syria, NLD Myanmar election victory.
Kurdish forces take the northern Iraqi city of Sinjar, 15 months after it fell to Islamic State militants. US believe air-strike in Syria killed Islamic State militant, 'Jihadi John', who appeared in a number of videos in which foreign journalists and aid workers were beheaded. And it has been confirmed - a landslide victory for Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy Party in Myanmar elections.
