Myanmar Election Update; Athletics Doping Scandal; Nigeria Anti-Corruption Chief Sacked

Aung San Suu Kyi is confident that her party, the National League for Democracy, is on the brink of a historic win in Myanmar. The BBC's Jonathan Head reports from the capital Yangon.

The Russian Athletics Federation is facing a ban from competition after an investigation into doping allegations by the World Anti-Doping Agency. The report was triggered by a join investigation by German broadcaster ARD/WDRTV and the British newspaper The Sunday Times. Newsday speaks to editor of the paper's Insight investigation team, Jonathan Calvert.

Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, has sacked the head of the country's anti-corruption agency. Tony Bonsignore reports.
