The interim President in the Central African Republic says people are keen to vote in the December elections, but warns there are politicians who want to undermine the electoral process.
The Obama administration is preparing to release 6,000 federal prisoners at the end of this month. This is the biggest prisoner release in the US.
As New Zealand and Australia are bracing for the Rugby World Cup, there are questions as to how safe the game is.
