The interim President of the Central African Republic, Catherine Samba-Panza, says people are keen to vote in the presidential and parliamentary elections that are due to happen in December. But she warned that enemies of the peace were trying to scupper the elections.
The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has called on all sides at the Syria talks in Vienna to compromise, as they prepare for wide-ranging negotiations.
